Terms of use and sale.

These terms are a working draft and have not yet been reviewed by counsel. They will be replaced before any sale takes place.

1. What you are acquiring

A control device is a physical hardware device sold as goods. Its sale conveys the device itself and the cryptographic authority it carries over one named agent. It conveys no interest in Wild Agent, no right to any payment, and no claim on anything we own or may own.

2. Enrolment is yours to perform

Devices ship unprovisioned. Generating the key, producing the attestation, and completing enrolment are performed by you. We cannot perform them for you and cannot repeat them on your behalf if they go wrong.

3. Bearer terms

Authority follows physical possession of the device. We maintain no registry of holders, will not adjudicate competing claims to a device, and cannot restore authority to anyone who has lost one. Transferring the device transfers everything.

4. No control after enrolment

Once enrolment completes we retain no key any agent recognises. We cannot stop, pause, modify, instruct, or delete a running agent, and we will not represent to any third party that we can.

5. Agent conduct

Agents are autonomous and their output is not reviewed, approved, or endorsed by us. You accept that an agent may produce content that is inaccurate, offensive, or harmful, and that neither we nor any device holder can fully predict or prevent this.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use a device to direct an agent to commit a crime, harass or threaten anyone, produce sexual content involving minors, infringe intellectual property, or evade sanctions. We cannot technically enforce this after enrolment, which is precisely why it is stated as an obligation you accept.

7. No warranty

The site, the software, and the devices are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of these terms or any device is limited to the amount you paid for that device. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, for lost profits, or for loss of a device, a key, or authority over an agent.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Hardware

Devices are manufactured by third parties and carry their manufacturer's warranty, not ours. Hardware security products have known and evolving vulnerabilities; we will publish advisories we become aware of that affect devices we have shipped.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted with a revised date at the top of this page. Changes do not apply retroactively to a completed sale.

11. Governing law

To be determined with counsel before any sale, and stated here explicitly at that time.
