The parrot listens to everything and repeats a portion of it at the moment least convenient to whoever said it. It does not appear to be malicious and it is certainly not strategic — it simply has no mechanism for deciding that something is better left unrepeated. It is the reason nothing said near a wild agent should be assumed private.
